Day 1: Depart UK

Depart the UK from your chosen airport.

Day 2: Arrive Uganda

Upon your arrival, a representative will be waiting to transfer you to your Entebbe hotel. Depending on your arrival time, we can arrange for a sunset cruise on Lake Victoria. It’s the ideal way to welcome you to Uganda as you sip cocktails and watch the fishermen cast their nets in the dusk.

Day 3: Drive to Murchison Falls National Park

Your morning will be spent being driven towards the stunning northwest region of Uganda after breakfast. The Victoria Nile River rushes through a short breach over a huge drop at Murchison Falls National Park, which is notable for the waterfall. The park is situated on the edge of Lake Albert. You can stop for a walking safari at the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary on your way to the sanctuary, where you can see the endangered rhinos that are kept here. You are allowed a maximum of one hour in the vicinity of the rhinos once you’ve located them. Before retiring to your lodge for the night, you may enjoy this nature stroll, during which you may also spot bushbucks, kobs, and duikers, among other animals.

Day 4: Nile Delta & Murchison Falls

A boat ride to the Nile Delta awaits you after an early morning meal. As the river empties into Lake Albert, you’ll be able to unwind on this cruise through the papyrus delta. Day 6: Chimpazee Trekking

You will go chimpanzee tracking after breakfast, taking in the beautiful forest scenery along the way. There are thirteen different kinds of primates, including chimpanzees, that call Kibale’s picturesque tropical forest home. Before you’re taken to Queen Elizabeth National Park, you’ll have a game drive on the way in. Afterwards, you’ll spend the majority of the morning walking about, searching for various animals.

This evening, you will get the opportunity to take a boat ride on the Kazinga Channel and search for animals during sunset. Queen Elizabeth National Park is home to a diverse range of habitats, including savannah, wetlands, and lowland forest.

Day 7: Ishasha to Bwindi National Park

The Ishasha Sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park is where you’ll spend the morning before you depart. Here you’ll see the tree climbing lions, who are quite fascinating to see as they lounge on the long limbs of trees. Relax with lunch here before making the long drive to Bwindi, the mountain gorillas’ natural habitat. Aside from the gorillas, elephants, monkeys, and antelopes are among the many creatures that call Bwindi Impenetrable National Park home. You will begin getting ready for tomorrow’s gorilla adventure this afternoon when you check into your lodge.

Day 8: Gorilla Trekking

If you’ve been waiting for this day, it’s finally here! Your gorilla trip will begin with an early morning departure accompanied by a primate specialist. Depending on where you locate the gorillas, the trek could take anywhere from two to six hours, but it’s money well spent for an unforgettable wildlife adventure.

It is impossible to put into words the sensation of seeing gorillas as they leisurely graze on the verdant foliage and weave in and out of your path once you have started your trek into the wild jungle in Bwindi. You will spend approximately one hour with the animals, and we promise you that it will be an unforgettable hour. You may see silverback gorillas relaxing in the underbrush or youngsters playing and swinging from the trees. Upon returning to the lodge, you will have the opportunity to savour a sumptuous dinner while reminiscing about the day’s highlights.
