Day #1: Transfer to Tarangire National Park

After morning breakfast at your hotel in Arusha, you will be picked up by your safari driver guide and embark on a 2 hours’ drive to Tarangire National Park situated in Tanzania’s Manyara region. Tarangire National Park is home to a spectacular concentration of wildlife with over 58 species including elephants, buffaloes, antelopes, gazelles, hartebeests, elands, vervet monkeys, banded mongoose, olive baboons, honey badgers, greater kudus, and many more. When you arrive in the park you will be welcomed by the spectacular landscapes of the park, check into your lodge and rest as you wait for lunch. After lunch, you will go for an afternoon game drive on which you will spot many animals and admire the nature of the park. In the evening you will return to your lodge, have dinner and stay overnight.

Day #2: Transfer to Serengeti National Park

After breakfast at your lodge, you will check out and go for an en-route game drive as you exit Tarangire National Park on your way to Serengeti National Park. On your way, you will go through the Great Rift Valley where you will enjoy watching magnificent views of the escarpments, on your arrival in the park you will check into your lodge for lunch. In the afternoon you will go for an evening game drive in the rolling plains of Serengeti watching a number of animals such as lions, leopards, elephants, buffaloes, cheetahs, hyenas, wildebeests, elands, zebras, and many more. After the experience, you will head back to your lodge, have dinner and stay overnight.

Day 3: Morning game drive and Maasai cultural visit

After breakfast at your lodge, you will head to Serengeti Plains for a morning game drive, the morning game drive is a perfect time for watching many animals such as lions, buffaloes, wildebeests, hartebeests, African dogs, cheetahs, gazelles, leopards, elephants and many more as they are just walking up. After the experience you will head back to your lodge for lunch, in the afternoon you will go for a cultural visit in the Maasai community where you will enjoy witnessing various cultural practices and traditions of the Maasai People such as livestock rearing, the circular bomas made out of local materials and get to purchase beautiful crafts such as jewelry and many more. After the experience, you will head back to your lodge, have dinner and stay overnight.

Day 4: Transfer back to Arusha

After breakfast at your lodge, you will go for the last game drive of your 4 Days Tanzania’s Tarangire vs Serengeti Itinerary in the plains of Serengeti national park watching many other animals. After the game drive, you will exit the park and embark on a drive back to Arusha where you will be dropped off either at your hotel or at the airport for your departure flight back home.
