Days 1-2: Kigali

Visitors visiting Volcanoes National Park can stay at Kigali Serena, a pleasant intermediate stop with plenty of things to see in the city, on their way to or from the park’s campgrounds and resorts. Days 2-5: Akagara National Park

You will be driven to Akagera National Park after spending the night in Kigali, where you will see the Big Five at Wilderness Magashi. The biggest preserved wetland ecosystem in Central Africa can be found in Akagera, the sole Big Five national park in Rwanda. Located in one of Rwanda’s less-visited regions, the park provides visitors with a peaceful, unspoiled getaway. Tented rooms with breathtaking views of the lakes are available at the camp. Days 5-8: Volcanoes National Park

You will be transferred to Volcanoes on Day 5. Wilderness Bisate, owned and operated by a world-famous luxury conservation firm, is located in the park’s verdant forests and provides an excellent jumping-off point for gorilla treks. The guest rooms are just as luxurious as the main house.

The style and materials are identical, with the exception of two domes instead of three. The bedroom and en-suite bathroom are located in separate domes on the inside. Every bedroom is furnished with a double bed, nightstands, lamps, a desk, a chair, a separate sitting area, and a private veranda that overlooks the park. In addition, each private bathroom is a delight, with a flush toilet, two sinks set beneath mirrors, a walk-in shower and a large tub in the middle. The perfect spot to relax after a day of hiking to visit the gorillas in the park!
