Day 1: Entebbe
A plane lands at Entebbe Airport internationally. After you clear immigration and get your bags, you can exit the airport and meet your driver outside the terminal doors. Getting to your accommodation for the night will just take ten minutes.

Day 2: Murchison Falls
Your safari Murchison Falls And Kidepo will begin when your guide meets you after a full night’s sleep and breakfast. Travel north for 350 km (6-7 hours) across a scenic and diverse scenery to reach Murchison Falls National Park. Stop by the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary on your way.
You can follow a guide as they track rhinos and safely watch them in their natural habitat. Stop by the rhino refuge for lunch before continuing on to Murchison Falls National Park.
The park’s namesake waterfalls, Murchison Falls, are another hour’s drive inside the park. Take in the breathtaking waterfall scenery before hopping on a boat safari that will transport you downstream to the picturesque Bakers Lodge.

Day 3: Murchison Falls

A game drive along the Nile’s northern bank will kick off the day after an early breakfast. Many kinds of savannah woodland birds, as well as Rothschild giraffes, elephants, lions, waterbucks, oribis, and Jackson hartebeests, are likely to be seen. The elusive leopard may even be hiding in the underbrush, but only if you’re very fortunate.

Day 4: Murchison Falls
Head to the Budongo Forest Reserve on Murchison’s outskirts after a leisurely 45-minute drive after breakfast. Prior to venturing into the jungle, you and your chimpanzee trekking guides will meet for a briefing at 8 a.m. Although sightings are common, they are guaranteed. After spending an hour with the monkeys, you’ll make your way back to the sanctuary. Go on a game drive or just relax this afternoon.

Day 5: Kidepo National Park
Upon your arrival at your accommodation, a driver will be waiting to transport you to Bugungu Airstrip, where your flight to Kidepo Valley National Park is scheduled to depart. The lodge safari guide from Apoka Safari Lodge will be waiting for you when you arrive. The lodge is where you will spend the following three nights. The lodge is in charge of all safari activities and schedules, but a late-afternoon safari drive in the park is what you can expect.

The actual check-in time will be communicated by the lodge the night prior to your trip, as departure timings for internal flights can vary daily. The scheduled time is 09:10. Upon arrival at the other side, your driver will be waiting to take you to your overnight destination, Karibu Entebbe.
