  • Low: 17°C / 63°F
  • Rainfall: 70MM / 0.8IN

When the dry season begins in June, the resort opens again. Even while the park is still verdant and verdant after the rainy season ends, it starts to change rapidly once the dry season starts. In June, you’ll usually find fewer tourists, so if you can, try to plan your trip for the second half of the month. Even in the dead of winter, the immense wilderness glistens with heat. Because there is less foliage and animals are more predictable in their movements due to the scarcity of water sources, this is the ideal time to go game viewing. When visiting Africa in the months of August and September, make sure to go on a walking safari.

Low: 15°C / 59°F
Rainfall: 72.5MM / 2.85IN

In October, when the dry season reaches its climax, the weather is perfect for watching animals. The revitalising rains that come in November gradually turn the terrain into a verdant paradise, and anticipation for them rises. Large herds of buffalo and elephants can be observed enjoying the plentiful aqueous habitat, while migratory birds start coming from the Northern Hemisphere. Although January usually has the heaviest annual rainfall, the weather is generally pleasant and game watching is excellent.

Low: 12°C / 53°F
Rainfall: 205MM / 8.08IN

Days in February are still hot and sunny, with brief showers here and there. The season’s short showers provide optimal lighting conditions, making it the perfect time to capture stunning wildlife shots. When there are fewer people around, you really feel like you’re on your own. Early in March, clouds begin to collect in the afternoon, signalling the beginning of the long rains that often hit in the middle of the month. Due to the unmanageable operational problems caused by the extended wet season, safari operations close from mid-March until the end of May.
