Affordable Luxury Pan-Africa Safaris & Packages
An outstanding choice that truly highlights the continent’s attractions is a pan-African safari.
Pan-Africa encompasses nearly all the safari destinations we endorse and highlights the continent’s remarkable features. A cross-Africa trip is an outstanding choice for an extended safari vacation.
The primary inquiry for most travelers is, how much time is required? Multi-country pan-African safaris necessitate a duration of two to three weeks to optimize the experience. Do not underestimate the immense expanse of the continent; it is indeed vast. Consequently, you will inevitably encounter unproductive nights while travelling through ‘Safari Africa’, which is why we strongly recommend against attempting a pan-African highlights trip in under two weeks. A duration of two to three weeks is necessary to adequately experience both East Africa and Southern Africa during your vacation.
Pan-Africa may encompass all regions from the open plains of East Africa to Victoria Falls, and from the Okavango Delta to Cape Town, extending to the southernmost point of the continent. These excursions rank among the most extensive and breathtaking safaris we curate.
“Reducing the tempo of a safari is consistently advisable.” Avoid overextending yourself. Adopting a leisurely approach and immersing yourself in the environment you are traversing will yield significantly greater rewards. Master this, and you will accumulate sufficient memories of your experience to endure a lifetime.
Kabira Safaris employs several trained guides. These individuals have led safaris throughout the entirety of Safari Africa. Kindly reach out to us here to connect with one of our representatives, who would be pleased to discuss all available alternatives with you. Considering that, here are few supplementary highlights and experiences that may be of interest…
Game Viewing Areas to Consider
Considers the Sabi Sands in South Africa to be an important starting point for their journey north. As a safari destination in Africa, the Sabi Sands are a great place to see leopards, and a safari in Botswana’s Okavango Delta, with its immaculate lagoons and rivers, is a great chance to see the animals up close and personal.
The East African plains are the third best place to see large game. A must-visit site, the Serengeti is where you can witness the Great Migration and over 4,000 lions. Ngorongoro Crater in Tanzania is just as breathtaking. We include visits to the Okavango Delta and the Serengeti in our pan-African safaris at a whopping 99 percent. Would you also like to include Sabi Sands in South Africa?
Pan-Africa safari Destinations
1. Victoria Falls
The biggest waterfall in the world is this. The Falls are breathtaking year-round, but especially when they’re full from about March to June.
Staying near enough to feel the spray of the Falls or venturing out to one of the wonderful tiny lodges tucked upstream on the tranquil banks of the Zambezi River are two ways to fully immerse yourself in this world-renowned tourist attraction. If you go with the second choice, you’ll be right where the river is.
2. Cape Town and The Winelands
The most fascinating city in Safari Africa is Cape Town. An African safari would be remiss if it didn’t stop in the ‘Cape,’ home to world-class eateries and nightlife, breathtaking scenery, and some excellent boutique hotels.
This region is ideal for grape cultivation due to its mild Mediterranean environment. Miles of vineyards interspersed with mountains provide an astonishing array of red, white, and black grape varietals for use in wines, port, brandy, and sherries.
3. Namibia
Namibia is unlike any other vacation spot we offer; the country’s diverse landscapes provide some of the best landscape photography opportunities in all of Africa.
Typically, we wouldn’t suggest a big game safari in Namibia for a cross-continental journey. The Sabi Sands and Okavango Delta, for instance, provide significantly superior experiences. But if you’re planning a trip throughout Africa, you shouldn’t miss the Sossusvlei sand dunes or the Skeleton Coast.
Pan-Africa Safari Experiences
1. Beaches
No matter how much beach time you’re after, you should know that East Africa offers the best of both worlds: safaris and beaches.
Even while the Zanzibar Archipelago in Tanzania is the most well-known, the coastlines of both Tanzania and Kenya are stunning. Mozambique is really pricey, but it’s worth every penny. Unless our guests are flush with cash, we won’t include it on our pan-African safaris.
2. Gorillas and Chimps
One of the most thrilling wildlife experiences on Earth is peering into the eyes of a great ape while on foot, and being part of a chimpanzee group is unlike anything we offer.
You may see the last remaining mountain gorillas in East Africa, and you can have amazing encounters with wild chimpanzees at Mahale, Tanzania. In addition to the more conventional Big Five safari, a thrilling alternative is to trek through the jungle in search of one of these majestic beasts.
Cultural safaris
Safari Africa can provide this kind of safari because most of the countries where our trips are conducted are home to fascinating indigenous communities. In Southern Africa you’ll find the Himba and the San bushmen of Botswana; in East Africa you’ll find the Maasai, the Samburu, and the Hadzabe.
Our cultural safaris are most popular in East Africa, but we are also pleased to plan similar excursions in Southern Africa upon request. Authentic cultural safaris that are well-rounded and enjoyable are always a highlight of our guests’ vacations, and we relish the challenge of achieving their perfection.
