Detailed Itinerary: 4 Days Nyerere Luxury Safari

Day 1: Start of your Safari from Dar es Salaam

In order to get you to Julius Nyerere International Airport (DAR), we will pick you up from your accommodation. A one-hour reporting period is required. Your checked baggage is only allowed to weigh 15 pounds. Take off for your flight to Nyerere National Park; the flight will take around an hour: The camp’s driver guide will meet you at the airport and drive you in a 4×4 safari vehicle to your overnight camp. Your Camp is a well-known, opulent building with magnificent park views. In the event that a morning flight arrives, proceed to lunch and spend some time relaxing at the camp. Go for a safari game drive in the late afternoon [usually around 3.30pm] to explore the park’s surroundings and view its incredible animals.

Day 2: Enjoy Full day in Nyerere National Park

Boat safari on the Rufiji river in Selous Game Reserve (Nyerere), Tanzania

You get to go on two game drives today, one at 6.15 am before breakfast and the other at 2:30 pm after lunch. It is thought that the optimum times to see animals at their most active are in the early morning and late afternoon. Breakfast at leisure at the Camp before spending the remainder of the morning at your leisure. The camp provides a number of add-on activities, including boat safaris and nature walks, in addition to its swimming pool. Take a mid-afternoon safari game drive to further explore the park after the delicious meal, or choose the romantic and adventurous sunset boat safari along the vast Rufiji River to see hippos, crocodiles, and birds while taking in the breathtaking sundowner. Once you get back to the camp, which is usually about 6 p.m., you can relax for the evening before dinner.

Day 3: Enjoy Full day in Nyerere National Park

Nyerere National Park, all day. Drive to the enormous Nyerere National Park after a leisurely breakfast to see the varied wildlife and untamed scenery on a full-day game drive with a packed lunch at no additional cost. Elephants, buffaloes, lions, leopards, and giraffes—the “big five”—are fairly abundant. Take a pause for a picnic lunch where you can observe the scenes of your dreams, such as stunning landscapes or fascinating glimpses of wildlife in its natural habitat. In the evening [usually 6 to 6.30pm], return to the camp in time for a leisurely evening and dinner.

Day 4: Return to Dar es Salaam

Enjoy an early game drive before breakfast or a morning walking safari, which typically begin at 6:30 Am after first-morning tea or coffee and lasts for around 2-3 hours. Both activities are supervised by an armed ranger. A walking safari is an excellent way to explore the Nyerere bushes in further detail. Prepare a quick breakfast when you get back to the tent. Continue to the checkout. Now that you have said goodbye to Nyerere, you will be taken to the neighboring airport for your return journey to Dar es Salaam (the flight will take around an hour).
