Description

Go for what is said to be some of the wildest white water in the world. Rafting the Zambezi River is an adrenaline-pumping trip through officially classed Class V rapids (Grade VI is commercially unrunnable). This is a tough activity requiring a reasonable level of fitness, steep descents in and out of the Batoka Gorge as well as the rafting itself. At Victoria Falls the gorge is almost 100 metres deep and further down it is over 200 metres deep. The gorge is heavily vegetated and has some really magnificent sights despite the rough terrain.
