Day 1 : Arrival – Transfer to the Hotel for Dinner & Overnight

Day 2 : Kigali Golf

Make your way to the picturesque Kigali Golf Resort for a rejuvenating morning game of golf after a leisurely breakfast. This tranquil location is ideal for avid golfers and nature lovers alike, thanks to its picturesque surroundings of lush greenery and breathtaking views. After your round is over, you’ll have some time to relax and eat a hearty lunch at the club or one of the surrounding restaurants. Afternoon activities include another round of golf or a return to the hotel for a fulfilling meal and a good night’s sleep.

Day 3 : Kigali Genocide Memorial + Transfer to Musanze – the Volcanoes National Park (approx. 2hrs. & 30 mins drive)

After a leisurely breakfast, you will have the opportunity to see the Kigali Genocide Memorial. As a gesture of respect, nearly 256,000 victims of the Tutsi genocide in 1994 were put to rest here. Musanze is the verdant entry point to Volcanoes National Park; after that, take in the sights on the picturesque drive there. As you travel, stop to see the stunning countryside and rolling hills of Rwanda. After you’ve arrived at your resort, check in and relax in the luxurious accommodations. Spend the afternoon as you choose, taking advantage of the lodge’s high-end facilities or, if you’d like, visiting the Dian Fossey Gorilla Fund’s Ellen DeGeneres Campus. You will have dinner at the lodge as the sun goes down, and then you can get some sleep before your gorilla trekking adventure the next day.

Day 4 : Undertake the gorilla trekking

Your adventure begins after breakfast as you make your way to Kinigi, the headquarters of Volcano National Park, where you will meet your guides for the day and visit the mountain gorillas’ natural habitat. We embark on this once-in-a-lifetime adventure of tracking mountain gorillas after finishing the park requirements. The moment you see these magnificent apes, you’re free to spend as much time as you like observing them. After lunch, head back to your hotel for some downtime. Take advantage of the property’s services during the afternoon, then relax with dinner and a nap.

Day 5 : Departure.

Before you check out and start your gorgeous trip back to Kigali city, you will have a leisurely breakfast. You intend to do some last-minute shopping at nearby craft stores, if time permits.
