At the Gran Melia Arusha, you may find accommodations that look out over the distant, majestic Mount Meru. Not to mention how great the rooms are. Plus, after a long flight, you may unwind at the spa and wellness center or at the on-site restaurant.

Day 2 & 3: Tarangire National Park

Drive to Tarangire National Park
2-Nights Stay in Tarangire National Park

After you have breakfast, your safari guide will meet you and give you the rundown as you go to Tarangire National Park.

The world’s most diverse breeding bird species and the biggest concentration of elephants are both housed in this stunning park. Wildlife abounds in Tarangire National Park, especially during the dry season. Tarangire Elephant Springs is where you’ll be spending the next two nights. Return to camp after enjoying sundowners on the vast plains. On top of that, you might spot some rare and majestic big cats like lions, cheetahs, and leopards, along with more common ones like Gerenuk, Kudu, and Oryx. The rare tree-climbing python may even be visible if your timing is just right.

Day 4: Ngorongoro Conservation Area

Transfer to Ngorongoro Conservation Area

We left Tarangire for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area for a wildlife drive first thing in the morning after breakfast.

When you go at Lion’s Paw, have a delicious lunch and kick back. At Lion’s Paw, you’ll find exquisitely appointed rooms that offer breathtaking vistas of the crater and all the comforts of home.

Being only one kilometre from the Lemala gate, Lion’s Paws visitors can enjoy the advantage of being among the first to reach the crater floor each morning thanks to the lodge’s close proximity to the descent route, which is one of the primary attractions. Ngorongoro Crater and its environs can be explored from this excellent location thanks to the variety of activities offered by experienced guides.

Invigorating weather, verdant forests, and stunning scenery are what await you.

Take a break from the city and go on a guided wildlife drive in the Ngorongoro Highlands with us.

Day 5: Ngorongoro Crater Game Drive – Ndutu Region

Drive to Ngorongoro Crater Floor

You are about to go on an exciting safari journey to the Ngorongoro Crater. There are almost 30,000 species that call this breathtaking area home, and among them are the famous Big Five. A wide variety of animals, including buffalo, zebras, lions, wildebeest, warthogs, baboons, elephants, flamingos, ostriches, hippos, cheetahs, and even a few black rhinos, inhabit the crater. In the crater, the whirling clouds and brilliant hues make for a surreal setting.

Ngorongoro Crater is one of the Seven Natural Wonders of Africa, and for good reason: the scenery is absolutely stunning. Head to Lemala Ndutu Camp in the Ndutu Region as the sun goes down. From December through April, you can witness the Great Wildebeest Migration in Ndutu in the southern Serengeti, which is accessible via the highlands.

The area will be teeming with new life at this time of year because that is when the wildebeest give birth to their offspring.

Day 6-8: Ndutu Great Migration Calving Season

Spend 3-Nights in Ndutu for the Great Migration Calving Season
Morning and Afternoon Game Drive in Ndutu Region

Find one of the best places to see animals in their natural habitat while the weather is green:

Nestled between the North West Ngorongoro and the South Serengeti is Ndutu. From December through April, this region plays a significant role in the Great Migration as herds graze on the mineral-rich short grasslands for food and to give birth.

See the many hoofed animals and the famous predators that follow them as they travel clockwise around the world.

Get an early start and pack up your tent if you want to follow the Great Migration as it crosses the vast plains. Ndutu offers off-road game drives, which are a great way to observe cheetahs and lions in their natural habitat.

Six different kinds of cats—the African wildcat, caracal, serval, cheetah, leopard, and lion—make their permanent home in the park throughout the year. Elephants, giraffes, warthogs, and hyenas are among the many animals that can be spotted.

Day 9 & 10: Ndutu – Central Serengeti National Park

Drive to Central Serengeti National Park
2 Days of Game Drive in Central Serengeti

Look out for magnificent animals and birds, as well as cheetahs, elephants, giraffes, hippos, ostriches, warthogs, aardvarks, and pangolins. The plains seem to go on forever. This splendour is offered by the Serengeti, which is home to more mammals than any other place on Earth. But you can find out everything on a game drive in the afternoon.

Located in the heart of the Serengeti National Park in the eastern region, the Serengeti Sametu Camp is a posh tent camp. Each room has every amenity one would expect from a hotel of this kind. Even while you’re lying down in bed, you may enjoy a breathtaking view of the Serengeti plains because to their uniquely constructed design. This kind of lodging is ideal because it combines the best of both worlds: closeness to nature and plenty of creature comforts.

Day 11-15: Fly-out to Zanzibar Island

Transfer to Seronera Airstrip for your Flight to Zanzibar

Pamper yourself for five nights on Zanzibar’s picture-perfect white dunes while you soak up the sun. Optional activities on the island range from swimming with dolphins to scuba diving among vivid coral reefs teeming with diverse marine life, experiencing the old Stone Town to touring the spice farms.

On Zanzibar’s eastern coast sits the luxurious Qambani Luxury Resort, a beachside hideaway. The resort has large grounds, lots of indoor and outdoor living space, and unique features like two pools that face the ocean, which provide stunning views. The price of your stay includes all meals and access to a private beach on the island of Zanzibar.

Day 16: Beach Resort to Zanzibar Airport

Transfer to Zanzibar Airport
International Departure

First thing in the morning, you’ll have a delicious bush breakfast before setting off on an exciting sunrise game drive. Your guide will transport you to the Seronera airfield for your flight to Zanzibar after you have enjoyed your morning wildlife drive.

Until your trip to the airport is required, you are free to rest at the resort after breakfast on day 16. You are welcome to leave your bags at the resort’s storage facility until 11:59 AM after you have checked out of your accommodation.

Your driver will come and get you from the reception when it’s time for the airport transfer, and you’ll be driven to the Zanzibar International Airport for your next flight.
