A Detailed 7-Day Gorillas And Masai Mara Safari
Day 1: Arrival at Entebbe International Airport and Transfer to Bwindi
Pickup from your Kampala or Entebbe hotel or airport will be followed by a transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park by a representative from our company. A photo stop at Kayabwe’s equator and a lunch break in Mbarara town are on the itinerary. After enjoying a breathtaking panorama of the Kigezi mountains and the stunning landscapes of Uganda, often called the Pearl of Africa, you will arrive at Bwindi in the late afternoon.
Day 2: Go Gorilla Trekking and Batwa Visit
The gorilla trekking instructions will be briefed at the park headquarters after a full meal. This is going to be the first step towards an unforgettable day. As a group of eight, you will travel on an adventure through the verdant tropical rainforests alongside one gorilla family. Because of their established practice of interacting with people, these gorillas are unlikely to alter their behaviour in response to this. Throughout the hike, a park ranger armed with a rifle will accompany you. In their care, you will be protected.
Going on a walk with these large apes could take two to five hours because they are always on the move looking for food. Once you find them, you’ll have an hour to examine them and record footage and photos. Upon emerging from the forest, your driver will be waiting to transport you to the resort. While seeing the homes of the Bakiga and Batwa people on an evening community walk, you can witness traditional dancing, cuisine, and art.
Day 3: Transfer from Bwindi to Entebbe & Fly to Kenya
Return to Entebbe will be arranged for you after breakfast. Lunch is available in Mbarara town along the route, and you may stop again if you’d want to take another picture at the equator. In the evening, upon reaching your hotel, you can enjoy supper and a good night’s sleep.
Day 4: Transfer to Maasai Mara in Kenya.
From Entebbe, you will set out early in the morning for the full-day trip to Masai Mara.
Also, there will be plenty of rest stops and photo chances throughout the route. Arriving in Masai Mara in the late afternoon, you will be directed to the specified hotel for check-in. Stay at the hotel for the night after a delicious dinner to recover from the long drive.
Day 5&6: Maasai Mara National Reserve.
A hearty breakfast is in order before you spend the day watching the many species of animals that call the Legendary Mara River home. Watch crocodiles and hippos swim by while you savour your picnic lunch.
The Masai Mara is well-known for its incredible variety of animals. Furthermore, it is the fourth most popular tourist spot in the globe and the seventh wonder of the world, according to experts. Watching the game should be a delightful experience.
Crocodiles, lions, rhinos, hippos, giraffes, warthogs, buffalo, hyenas, jackals, wild dogs, leopards, antelopes, and elephants are among the approximately 90 different species of animals that call the reserve home. Participating in this endeavour guarantees an extraordinary and memorable encounter.
Also on the itinerary is a stop to a Masai village, where you can taste authentic native food and watch traditional dances.
Day 7: Transfer to Nairobi for Departure
After breakfast, we will begin our journey from Masai Mara to Nairobi, stopping for lunch en route. It will be late in the afternoon when you arrive. After your 7-day safari encounters with the Bwindi Gorillas and Masai Mara, your guide will transfer you to the airport in time for your return departure.
