A Detailed 10-Day Timbavati, Sabi Sands And Victoria Falls Itinerary

Days 1–4: Timbavati

Your safari will begin with a flight into the Kruger region of South Africa and a transfer to Ngala Safari Lodge. The opulent safari firm &Beyond owns and operates this establishment. Its picturesque setting in the Ngala Reserve, among tamboti trees, with a view of the seasonal river Timbavati is hard to beat. The communal lodge has a distinct safari vibe with its construction from timber, stone, and thatch. The indoor living and eating areas are chic and comfortable, while the outside amenities include a large pool and a traditional boma where you can enjoy your meals. A gym and a spa are also available. Game drives in the morning, afternoon, and evening, as well as walking safaris, tracking, rhino notching, and photography safaris are all part of the itinerary. The Ngala Reserve is home to more than 350 different bird species, as well as a plethora of other animals and plants. Among these are the Big Five: lion, rhino, leopard, elephant, and buffalo.

Days 4–7: Sabi Sands

Part two of your safari takes place at Kirkman’s Kamp in the Sabi Sands, where you’ll spend three nights. Travellers who like a more colonial style often choose Kirkman’s. There is a dining area, bar, library and lounge that dates back to the 1920s in the colonial lodge. There is a large terrace off the main area where you may sit and watch the animals go by. Also, there’s a rim-flow pool that looks rather inviting. Each cottage has a queen-sized bed, a full bathroom with a door leading to the outside and two verandas that look out over the stunning scenery. Activities at the camp range from driving and walking safaris to trips to local communities and training in professional astrophotography. The Sabi Sands are home to a wide variety of animals, including the Big Five, as well as many smaller predators and herbivores, as well as an abundance of birds.

Days 7–10: Victoria Falls

You will take a flight to Livingstone, a town in the southwest of Zambia, from South Africa. Over the course of your three nights at Waterberry Lodge, you’ll have plenty of opportunity to see the neighbouring Victoria Falls, a breathtaking waterfall. Nestled on the banks of the Zambezi River, Waterberry Lodge is one of the few owner-run resorts in the area. As a result, it boasts some of the best client feedback we’ve ever received from a camp. A peaceful section of the river perfect for unforgettable boating safaris is waiting for you here, just 35 minutes away from Livingstone town! Over the next few days, you are free to partake in any one of the many available activities, or just relax on the sun loungers and swim in the riverfront view from the lodge.
