Days 1–4 CAPE TOWN
Upon your arrival in Cape Town, your holiday will commence with three nights at Four Rosmead. This boutique hotel is a favourite among Kabira Safaris guests and is privately owned and operated. In addition to a beautiful setting in a quiet district, this home boasts a breakfast room, porch, gardens, and a swimming pool! You can’t find a better place to stay than Four Rosmead if you want to see the city and its environs. The hotel is located on the lower slopes of Table Mountain, making it simple to visit the mountain. Many of Cape Town’s attractions, like Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens, the V&A Waterfront, Clifton and Camps Bay, the National Museum & Art Gallery, and Parliament Buildings, are within a short drive.
Days 4–8 SABI SANDS
After exploring Cape Town to your heart’s content, it’s time to embark on your Big Five safari. Next, you’ll take a plane to the Sabi Sand Private Game Reserve, where you’ll stay at the luxurious Lion Sands River Lodge for four nights. Although Lion Sands is a relatively small reserve, the lodge is unique among nearby properties in that it provides access to both the private reserve and the Kruger National Park. With its excellent service, luxurious accommodations, and knowledgeable guides, it provides excellent value for the money. The open-concept living and dining area is incredibly comfortable and offers stunning views of the Sabie River.
