A Detailed 12-Day Cape Town, Winelands & Kruger

Days 1 – 4: Explore Beautiful Cape Town | 4 Nights

Embark on an unforgettable South African adventure today as you are escorted to the five-star Cape Grace, a hotel located right on the V&A Waterfront, via private transfer. You may relax with a drink on the terrace after you’ve settled in and taken in the views, or you can go exploring—the Waterfront is right outside your door, and the heart of Cape Town is only a short drive away.

You have three full days to discover all that Cape Town has to offer. Explore the stunning Constantia Winelands, Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens, and Cape Point Nature Reserve with a rental car or private transfers arranged from The Cape Grace.

Among Cape Town’s many attractions are the historic Robben Island, which can be reached by ferry, Table Mountain (which may be hiked or accessed by cable car), world-class shopping, and gourmet restaurants.

When you’re ready to unwind on a sunny day, travel to one of Cape Town’s famous beaches like Camps Bay or Clifton. The city is also known for its excellent hiking, shark-cage diving, abseiling, and kite-surfing.

Days 5 – 7: Escape into the Cape Winelands | 3 Nights

After your last hearty breakfast at The Cape Grace, you’ll be whisked away in a private vehicle to the breathtaking Cape Winelands. This area is just outside of Cape Town and is famous for its picturesque countryside, excellent restaurants, and, of course, wine sampling.

After touching down in the picturesque French Huguenot village of Franschhoek, head to the heart of South Africa’s gastronomic capital, Le Quartier Francais, a five-star boutique hotel with a country-style decor.

Franschhoek boasts a plethora of art galleries, concept stores, exceptional dining options, and wineries nestled in a verdant valley and bordered by majestic mountains. Le Quartier’s friendly staff can set you up with excursions to nearby vineyards for lunch, tastings, and private picnics.

There’s still time for a round of golf or a visit to Stellenbosch, the Winelands’ capital, where you can sample more wines and maybe even some chocolate.

Days 8 – 11: Fly into the Sabi Sands | 4 Nights

Return to Cape Town International Airport for your flight to Johannesburg, bidding farewell to the serene Cape Winelands en route. Upon reaching OR Tambo, hop on a charter plane and head straight to the Sabi Sands Game Reserve, a private conservation area that borders Kruger National Park and is renowned for its abundance of wildlife.

Upon your arrival at the airfield, a representative will be there to assist you with your transfer to the five-star Dulini River Lodge, located in the middle of the Sabi Sands. Be alert, for game viewing starts the second you step out of the airstrip.

The Sabi Sands has an exceptionally high density of game, which includes all the members of the Big 5. Zebras, giraffes, wildebeests, and various antelopes are among the other creatures you might see; rare sightings include cheetahs and, on sometimes, the endangered wild dog.
For the following three days, you’ll have the chance to see one of the top game viewing places in Africa. You’ll go on thrilling night drives as well as early morning and late afternoon game drives through the Sabi Sands Reserve, which is a private reserve.

Day 12: Arrive Back in Johannesburg

This morning, after one more game drive and another delicious bush breakfast, you will be transferred back to the airstrip. After that, you’ll return to Johannesburg’s OR Tambo International Airport to catch your outbound charter flight.
