Itinerary: 4 Days Masai Mara Flying Safari

Day 1: Start of your Safari from Nairobi

We will pick you up from your hotel in Nairobi or the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport [JKIA] and transfer you to the domestic Wilson airport, where you must arrive 45 to 60 minutes before takeoff. Take off for your 09.15 am flight to Masai Mara; the flight will take about an hour. The driver-guide that the lodge sent will meet you at the airfield in Masai Mara and take you to your overnight lodging. The vehicle used for the safari will be a 4×4, like a Land Cruiser or Land Rover. Your hotel is a well-known establishment with wonderful views of the Mara reserve. If a morning flight is arriving, proceed to lunch and spend your free time at the lodge. Experience your first safari game drive in the late afternoon [usually around 3.30pm], when you can explore the Mara’s surroundings and observe its incredible animals. Other visitors from the lodge may be transported in the safari vehicle.

Arrive back at the lodge by evening, usually between 6 and 6.30 p.m., in time for dinner.
