Namib Desert Facts, Map, Animals, Temperatures, and in which Country. The Namib Desert is one of the few remaining habitats on Earth where desert-adapted elephants may be found. These elephants differ from their non-desert counterparts in that they are smaller in stature, have longer legs, and larger feet.
